Having proactive data backup procedures in place can add additional security for your business and allow you to handle any unforeseen data loss situations, keeping your productivity and brand stable. We recently deployed the SanDisk Pro-G40 rugged SSD solution with our MacBooks with Thunderbolt 3 USB-C connection to take advantage of the 40Gbps maximum claimed speed. The drives came pre-configured to Mac APFS format in a 2TB size with claimed speeds up to 2700 MB/s Write speeds (Blackmagicdesign Disk Speed Test 2701.7MB/s) and 1900MB/s Read speed (Blackmagicdesign Disk Speed Test 2485.3MB/s). Backups have been fast and stable and we like the portability and rugged design of the unit for our needs as our consultants are often travelling.
